When you send an appointment request, we collect the information you enter: your full name, phone or WhatsApp number, preferred session, session location, preferred date and preferred time.

The open question asks what has been bothering you and how long you have lived with it. Anything you write there is voluntary. Please share only what you feel is necessary for Abed to understand your request, and do not submit detailed medical records or documents through this website.

We also record that you confirmed the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions, together with the time of that confirmation.

Our hosting provider processes standard technical request data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to serve the website securely and reliably.

This website does not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or analytics tracking, and does not embed third-party social media feeds or tracking widgets. Links to Instagram and WhatsApp are ordinary links: nothing is loaded from those platforms until you choose to open them.

If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp or Instagram, your message is processed on that platform under that platform's own privacy terms. We only see the conversation you start with us.

If you prefer not to use those platforms, you may request an appointment through the form or by telephone.

To review your appointment request and reply to you personally; to arrange, confirm, reschedule or cancel appointments; to prepare appropriately for a session; and to keep the records required to run the practice responsibly.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or automated profiling.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on your request and consent when you submit the form, on the performance of the service you asked for, and on our legitimate interest in operating the practice and keeping proper records.

Appointment requests are stored in a hosted cloud database and the website is served by a cloud hosting provider. These providers process the data only to deliver those services on our instruction.

An email delivery provider may process booking details solely to notify the practice of your request after email sending is activated.

Our hosting and database providers may process data on servers located outside the United Arab Emirates. Where this happens, we rely on the provider's contractual data protection commitments.

Only providers offering appropriate contractual safeguards are used for this processing.

Appointment requests are kept only as long as needed to respond to you, deliver the service and satisfy any record-keeping obligations, then deleted or anonymised.

Retention is reviewed periodically and records are removed when they are no longer reasonably required.

Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in a database that is not publicly readable. Access is limited to Abed Jan and anyone he formally authorises.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information you do not need to share.

What is discussed during an appointment stays within the practice. Photographs or video are only taken and only published with your separate, explicit consent, and that consent can be withdrawn.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave.

This website is not directed at children. Appointment requests for a minor must be made by a parent or legal guardian.
